VP Debate shows that Biden and Harris have no real polices

After the VP debate, VP candidate Kamala Harris demonstrated the fact that the policies that both her and presidential candidate Joe Biden have on their ticket are based on opposing whatever President Donald Trump stands for. Essentially saying that their policies oppose the current president shows that the democratic candidates have no real polices, and as the debate went forward, Harris continually dodged questions with pointless answers and no real information or detail. The writer of this article, David Marcus, concludes with saying that Biden and Harris seem to have no real information as to what they would do if they were to take office due to the fact that they will not share or give concrete policies.

Progressive groups come together with a 2021 agenda for Biden

Progressive groups like Black Lives Matter and organized labor have created a 2021 agenda for Joe Biden, providing plans for how his administration could help aid in COVID 19 and economics and more. This agenda is called the Working Families Party’s “People’s Charter,” proposing universal free health care, a new jobs program seeking to employ 16 million people, helping essential workers, reallocating resources to focus on education, and helping the public buy giving them ownership stakes in firms with bailouts. Eight members of Congress are in full support of this agenda, hoping that it may be a way in which people will be excited to vote; Biden has also shown both support and rejection in different parts of the agenda.

White House refuses to share President’s last negative COVID-19 test

After President Trump tested positive for COVID-19, when reporters asked about the president’s previous test, the White House communications director did not disclose the information, saying that there was a confidentiality between the president and doctors. Knowing such information can help in the process of narrowing down potential peoples that might have been exposed to the virus, as well as where and when the president contract it himself. The White House administration is currently trying to identify and put together a list of officials that have tested positive for the virus, and the number of officials is still growing.
